Create Your Legacy was a hybrid digital/physical game created in less than 24 hours as part of a game jam at the AROS museum in Aarhus. It lets players experience in fully realistic fashion what it was like to be a warpainter in olden days; while painting your masterpiece you had to listen to the sound of approaching riders with a set of earbuds and phyiscally reach down and hide behind rocks in the opposite direction to avoid them. Just like in olden days!

But have no fear, even if you should fall on the brutal battlefield your legacy will live on through the masterpiece you have created. Such is the noble life of a warpainter.

I was our programmer and co-designer on the game. It can be found here on itch, and played in simplified version using the arrow keys (unless you build your own Makey Makey setup and by all means do!)
